I am a grave diggers daughter – a natural born RHPC woman.  I am the mother of two children and the grandmother of eight.  I wanted a horse from the time I began to talk.  I got my first horse as a high school graduation present but I had to sell it after my children were born.  I got my oldest mare about fifteen years ago.

As I say, I am a typical Red Hat and Purple Chaps woman.  Although I am a widow, a grandmother of eight and a breast cancer survivor since August, 2005, I am a first responder with the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department.  I figure a woman needs to keep going and growing throughout life.  I earned a certificate in Medical Assisting in 2004 and an associate in medical assistant in 2006.  I have been playing house for the last 21 years with my partner Phil. 

Just call me “Gabbie”, a nickname I acquired 30+ years ago.
