I'm 48 yrs old and always wanted to have my own horse.  When my dad passed away last year, he asked me to let him make one of my wishes come true, he asked me to buy a horse for myself with my inheritance. 

So with great honor, I selected a registered thoroughbred (Jazz) to purchase last fall.  I don't know very much about horses so I am like a sponge, trying to learn all the different things I can learn.  My husband also wanted a horse, so we have a quarter horse (Story).  We originally had our horses boarded but a neighbor had a back pasture he wasn't using so we have since moved them closer to home.

I am hoping to become more involved with all the RHPC activities once I learn the basics.  I'm still working on buddy sour and trailer loading.
