Just a little about myself (in case you want to know!!)  I am going to be 45 years old this October.  I had a Shetland pony waiting for me before I was even born.  His name was Thunder and he was the most magical pony to ever be in existence!  I still think of him from time to time.  I have owned several horses, but I believe “Shadow” and I will be buddies for probably most of my riding years as he is six.  I love him dearly. 

I have six children (a combination of his and mine), and they are all teenagers - 5 girls (one 19, two 17, twin 15, and a boy 14!).  We are truly a family and love each other dearly.  All but the oldest girl is very “into” horses and we love spending our weekends trail-riding at Brown County or new places. 

I am finding I need my horsey girlfriends more and more as I get older.  I am so excited and honored to be able to be one of the Redhats!
