II was born on the 13th of November 1949.  I work at Kadel Engineering in Danville and live in Avon. I have 5 children, 2 of which are mine and 3 stepchildren. I also have 6 grandchildren, 4 boys and 2 girls.

I started riding aound the age of 10 or 11. Our neighbors bought a Welsh Pony named Ginger who I rode every chance I got until I was to big.  It seemed as I grew up I always had a friend with a horse, and since we didn't own one they let me ride theirs.

I can't say I learned how to ride, it was more like I learned how not to fall off.
 
When I married my husband we had a red quarter horse named Cat Balou. I felt real dumb walking after a big red horse carring a halter and calling "Come here Cat". People must have thought I was nuts. When she was sold I never rode again for nearly 30 years.
 
Then I started going with my sister to Hope's Way. After a few visits I adopted a horse named Hope,   which come to think of it is also a red quarter horse. Onece again I ride every chance I get.
